Midwest currently has 4 full time professionals providing Quality Services throughout the USA Mexico and Canada.  Tony Greene, Tim Friedrich, Ron Moore and Bruce Godshall  and look forward to working with you, and thank our many customers for their great cooperation.

Tony Greene (with his wife Marie) founded Midwest Quality 1996 to help companies register to the ISO and related standards in a way that they make meaningful business improvements with their ISO quality system.  He has guided over 100 organizations to register, and leads in the LeanAgile®  projects.  Tony is:

 

  • is a RAB Certified Lead Auditor since 1994, regularly performs ISO 9000 and QS-9000 registration and surveillance audits for QCB;
  • ISO 14000 Auditor;
  • passed the "Big Three" sanctioned auditing course for QS-9000 in 1995;
  • attained the first QS-9000 registration in the State of Indiana, which was among the first sixty obtained worldwide;
  • has consulted in over 200 registrations, 99% passed the first audit, 95% with no open nonconformances;
  • corporate Quality Systems Manager for Essex Group, Inc. Ft. Wayne, tier 1 supplier to General Motors;
  • Manager of Quality and Process Engineering for the Essex plant in Franklin TN;
  • V.P. Magnet Wire Division Electrostatic Technology, Inc. New Haven, CT. Established a new business to powder coat magnet wire;
  • Director of Engineering Interrad Corp. manufacturing electrostatic painting systems. Chief engineer on the installation of the GM Wentzville and Orion Assembly plants paint systems;
  • owner and President of Wooden Environments, Inc. Hopewell Junction, NY. Manufactured park and playground equipment, lived through "stagflation;"
  • taught Special Education for 5 years;
  • has presented papers on ISO 9000, statistics, and quality improvement to the Electrical Insulation Conference, Small Motor Manufacturers Association, ASQ, and many other groups;
  • BA Psychology Columbia University 1967;
  • MS engineering Syracuse University 1974;
  • walks with a Brittany Spaniel and reads books, currently Civil War history in his spare time.
 TIM FRIEDRICH

Tim is an experienced Quality Systems Auditor and quality consultant with one year of experience with Midwest Quality. His extensive quality background, especially in quality management, combined with a professional approach is evident as he approaches a client's quality system:

  • is a RAB Certified Auditor since 10/98;
  • worked as a leader of the team to implement an ISO 9000 Quality System and register;
  • has consulted in over 25 registrations, 99% passed the first audit, 95% with no open nonconformances;
  • plastics experience as engineer and Corporate Director of Quality for a multi-plant organization;
  • medical device experience in ISO 9000 implementation to also meet GMP(21CRF820) requirements;
  • industrial experience in metalworking, implementing ISO 9001, meet MIL-I-54208A, defense contracting, and nuclear;
  • extensive quality experience from Director of Quality, quality engineer, inspector, to a lead and set-up person;
  • manufacturing experience as a CNC lathe set-up and operator;
  • member ASQ since 1985, with Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI);
  • BA IU Fort Wayne 1995
  • enjoys music and reading in his spare time.

BRUCE GODSHALL

Bruce is an experienced Quality Systems Lead Auditor and quality consultant with two years of experience with Midwest Quality. His interpersonal skills are key in his ability to bring all level of the organization to success in implementing the quality system for performance improvement. Bruce is:

  • is a RAB Certified Lead Auditor since 10/97 and regularly performs ISO 9000 and QS-9000 registration and surveillance audits for QCB;
  • passed the "Big Three" sanctioned auditing course for QS-9000 in 1997;
  • worked within a large organization as a co-leader of the team to implement an ISO 9000 Quality System and register;
  • has consulted in over 50 registrations, 99% passed the first audit, 95% with no open nonconformances;
  • Environmental experience through position as Quality Manager for Printed Circuit Board Manufacturer;
  • Aerospace and defense contractor experience through positions as Quality Engineer and Inspector;
  • Auto Industry experience through positions as Quality Supervisor and Quality Engineer;
  • Boiler and Pressure Vessel (ASME STD & AWS, welding) experience through positions as inspector and technician.
  • Previous nondestructive testing experience and certified SNT-TC-1A level II technician in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Radiography and Ultrasonic testing.
  • member ASQ, with Certified Quality Auditor (CQA);
  • BA Biology and Chemistry U of Louisville 1979
  • Enjoys running and playing racquetball in his spare time.

 

Ron Moore

Ron is an experienced LeanAgile® practitioner with years of solid experience improving operations from foundries to financial institutions.  His ability to assess the problem and help the client develop a solution has enabled him to participate in many successes.  Ron is:

  • BS Degree in Industrial Supervision: Purdue Conferred
  • Associates Degree Industrial Engineering: Purdue Conferred
  • American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer
  • Trained ISO 9001:2000 Auditor
  • 35 years as a quality professional 
  • Service at all levels of organizations
  • Has a neat new red Corvette
